Name: Elegy
Race: Kin//Sensorius//Crafted
Age: 23
Description: Elegy is of average height, standing at 5’7. Her build is lithe and toned with tightly and subtly corded muscles. Her hair, as black as Gaiden, hangs to the middle of her back and is almost always worn loose. Her eyes are pools of silver without iris or pupil, though they are rarely seen.
She is usually wearing a simple suit of leather armor, one designed and crafted solely for her. The bottom portion is form fitting and black, with a dull sheen to it that would make it hard to discern in darkness. Her torso is covered by a sleeveless leather jerkin of gray and black, with a single black dragon’s wing and dagger decorating her chest. Upon each forearm and hand are black leather gauntlets, trimmed in gray around the fingers and palm with reinforced pads along the back of her hands, forearms, and knuckles to absorb impact. Around her neck hangs a pendent crafted for her by her uncle, Alec. Around her eyes she wears a crimson colored blindfold which shields her from the sights of normal space. The cloth itself is a remnant from ages long, long past. The banner of the Crimson Knights.
Personality: From her earliest moments Elegy has strove to learn and do anything and everything. Through this she became a serious person at a very young age and devoted all of her time and energy to studies. After her thirteenth birthday though, when Sia became a part of her life, she began to change. Although she was still as studious and tenacious in her learning and practice, she also began to laugh, to smile and to truly live. She was always competitive, but never a sore loser or winner, she simply reached to be the best. Now, she is quick to smile, to joke, and then to destroy you. In that respect she inherited aspects of both Ayji and Alec.
Abilities//
Passive:
EnZite- A gift, or curse, begotten from her spirit mother. At the time of her true birth the sorrow and joy, fear and acceptance of her mother filled her every sense, and coalesced in her mercury eyes. When she makes contact with another’s eyes something will happen. She has learned to control it to a degree, so she can initiate one of three emotions: Extreme fear, extreme anguish, or extreme pleasure. The major effect will last only as long as eye contact, but the residual effects can last for long moments afterward, and in some cases for the rest of the persons life. In cases of fear the person will see anything and everything they have ever been afraid of in their life, and that fear will merge into one single agonizing knife of emotion that can render the person helpless, shaken, and cowed beyond imagining. The same goes for anguish, though afterwards people have been known to be unable to do anything more than cry for that which they destroyed or lost. Pleasure will work the same way, and also incapacitate, but for different reasons.

Awareness- The race that was the original DNA pattern for Elegy, though unknown to her, possessed vast knowledge of the universe and its creation. Since the dawn of time they had traversed the galaxies in search of something, and through those travels had learned all there was to learn of creation. With that knowledge that suffused their senses to become something almost godly, in that they could sense everything. They could sense the very vibrations that create matter, and the matter that creates energy. It is this power that also prevents Elegy from going without her blindfold. Without it she sees what she senses in her mind at all times, but with her mind she can control it more perfectly. Thus she is always aware of what is around her. She can sense the breeze of wind, the breath of a leaf, the heat of sun upon land.
Power Level (8)
Gravitation- The power that Elegy made the most use and study of was that of Gravity, as it was one of the only forms of energy that she could create as well as manipulate and control. Over time she made use of this power so much until finally there became a field of gravity perpetually surrounding her body. It is an ever-changing, living thing created from living matter. Its exact creation is a mystery to her, other than speculation of it being something to do with her mother, the Guardian. It acts as a shield and a second skin, protecting her from the elements as well as attack.

Abilities//Powers
Gravity: Since birth Elegy has possessed the power to control, create, and manipulate this energy. Ayji believes that it is mainly because of his own influence over matter, and the fact that at her birth gravitational fields were being destroyed all around and through her cocoon. Her power over this element is absolute. Through that absolution many things are available to her, some of which will be listed, to list all would be impossible, but you should gather the general idea.
.-. Fields- She can create fields of gravity, be they large or small, and control the gravity in that one certain area, or areas, in any way she deems necessary. Example: She wishes to destroy a man, so creates separate gravity fields around and through his body. She then activates them, one pulls one way, another a different way, and so on. The man is ripped apart.
.-.Discreation- Matter is held together by gravity, and combined with her unique vision she is able to see the very vibrations that make up matter, and through her control of gravity can pull the essence of the mass apart piece by piece.
.-.Propel- Using the force of her power she can either push or pull objects to her, or to a space of her choosing by creating a:
.-.Prison- Similar to a field she can lock a person, people, or objects within its own gravity field and either move them to another place by creating a drawing gravity well, or simply crush them.
.-.Gravitation Force- Though gravity has no matter, it has force and can be thrown by her, or poured into an object to give it greater force such as weapons or fists.

Companion//Guardian:
Sia: Sia is the energy creature given to Elegy on her thirteenth birthday, to take the place in her soul that a dragon normally would. Over the years they grew a bond as a dragon and its companion does. The energy has proven to have somewhat a mind of its own, though it communicates in emotions and images rather than words. The energy resides within Elegy until called forth, or brought of its own accord in extreme situations.
.-.Shifting- Sia may take the shape of any animal or humanoid form she sees fit, or that Elegy requests.
.-.Shell- An automatic response when needed, completely covering Elegy in the energy that she’s created from and preventing harm from all but the strongest attacks.
.-.Wilde Magik- Sia has shown some abilities in magic, though not of casting spells, mostly of absorbing them and changing them into something different, or simply eating the spell and its power. Once this is done however, she continues to feed on the spell casters energy until the person is either far away or dead.
.-.WeaponShift- Sia can change into any weapon needed or called upon by Elegy.
.-.Ashes- the ability to break her essence down to its barest form and invade other life forms, attack and destroy them from within.

Weaponry//
Blade Master: From the age of nine Elegy has been taught the art of swordsmanship from her father, and in her years growing up fought among the best upon their world and bested them all. Before her departure she fought her father one last time, a battle which lasted hours and ended in a draw. At the end of that fight, with them both sweating and dragging in breath, her father gave her his last gift.
.-.Gaiden- The sword was once a source of power, nothing more than energy, but the energy was harnessed and crafted into the sword, Gaiden, by Ayji himself. The blade will take in any energy it comes into contact with, be it magic or force, and store it until released by its master. The amount of power it can store before release is staggering.
.-.Needle Work- For several years Elegy worked with six-inch long needles, each as thin as hair and sharper than the strongest razor. These combined with her gravity power make them a thing to be feared. Some among her people have come to call her techniques ‘tears of angels’, for she is able to rain them down seemingly from the heavens.

History:
In silence they watched as the last rays of Korunus and Anorkum dipped below the far horizon. Golden light bled out across waves of still water, stretching for miles until it at last caressed the silver shore of sand at their feet. The particles of the twin suns flecked their eyes of silver with gold, reflecting off of unshed tears gathered there.
The man’s arms encircled the body of his companion, gathered her close. His mind brushed softly against the folds of her conscious, caressing with a tenderness that broke her hearts. Her eyes fell from the distant sky and rose to meet his, sharing in his connection, basking in his affection. Without another thought she drifted, floated, to the sandy ground. White dust protested at her arrival, billowing in small puffs as her matter displaced its space. The man sank down to join her, parting her rough thighs with his own.
She lifted herself to him, mouth closing against the ridge of his jaw, tongue flicking out to catch tears he shed at their contact. A soft cry escaped her thoughts as his mind penetrated her depths, even as his organs split her open, forcing her body to conform and meld against his. He grunted at the sensations that flooded his senses and began to thrust, with both his mind and his body. Their consciousness coalesced into one creature for that eternal moment, even as the ground beneath their writhing forms buckled and began to shake.
With each brutal plunge into her blue-skinned body his mind opened just that much further. In it he could see the center of the world as it pulsed and vibrated. They had chosen this world decades before, both for its lonesome beauty and for a final place of rest. Unlike the worlds they had visited before though, this one seemed almost alive within its hard shell. Now, that sense of ‘other’ bucked against their joining, for in it the creature sensed its own demise.
His mate cried out as he plunged deeper into her form, both her mind and organs. His strength began to shred her essence, bleeding her mentally and physically. She wept against him as shudders shook her core. He wanted to apologize, to tell her how sorry he was for bringing them to this end, but it was not his will. It simply was the Way. At their death another pair would be created and imbued with their memories, their powers, and as it had always been they would search the heavens and earths for the One, the Chosen to Serve. It was unfortunate that a world had to be destroyed in order to accomplish this, but he had sensed an end and chosen this planet for its barren beauty to serve as their grave.
His last thoughts were choked off as suddenly a spasm grabbed his soul, shaking him to his center, and began to expand all that he was into a single point of light. He lifted up, almost out of her body, then with a violent growl to drown out her shrill cry of pain he thrust into her womb with all of his strength, eons of stored semen exploding forth in a fountain of pain, ecstasy, and magic.
The ground beneath them exploded around and through their bodies as his orgasm coursed towards her eggs, two breaking ahead of the other billions. They hit and battered against the shell of her life, even as the world they were conceived in rushed outward to embrace the heavens. Its power, its destruction, filled the tadpole like objects. Inside the egg power washed, it expanded, cracked, and the sperm shot in. Wave after wave of powerful devastation swept over and through the orb, mixing and mingling with that genetic code already laid in place. They began to change.
As Uganii faded from life she sensed within the air her offspring, her creation.
No…
She felt them change, blossom, and become something else. These were not her children, their DNA was wrong. Something had happened, she could feel it. Through the haze of her ending she felt that ‘other’ being bearing down upon her mind and her body, coaxing from her the lives blooming inside her shining carcass. The dying Sentanu tried to beg and plead with the world-creature but no longer would her voice reach out. As her consciousness fled the realms to join that of her mate she saw from a distance her eggs disappearing into the folds of light that was now this planet.
And then all was dark, and she, along with her race, was no more.
Pain, for the first time in all of her long life, filled every thought. For a thousand years she had been alone. Her entire planet had been stripped of life, all presence denied to her by the gods for her failure at destroying one man. Oh, she had been allowed the creation of plants and animals; mockeries of the populace she once possessed.
Then they had come, the two blue-fleshed ones. She thought that perhaps the gods had forgiven her of her transgressions and would once more allow her to become that which she was born to be. She was supposed to be a guardian, spirit, and mother of All. That had not been the case though. Years after they had come, no others followed and it was soon apparent that they would remain alone. It was not apparent though, until the past week, that they were planning to die on her back. Not until the moment of their joining did she realize that they sought to create a life at the expense of her own.
She would not allow it. She did not spend the years alone only to be destroyed so that another may create a life out of her ashes and leave her to be nothing more than a memory to none. Impossible. Take this life, that is what she would do, and make it her own, or create a life of her own choosing, but she would not simply quietly be destroyed. This was her promise to those gods that had forsaken her, this was her Elegy.
Still though, she felt the force of her life and presence diminishing even as the flesh of her world continued to fade away into the black blankness of a harsh space.
Alone I may not do this, but perhaps with another…
So she called. To the one responsible for her failure and abandonment, she called. Worlds and universes fell before her voice as the power of her thoughts rippled through the fabric of space and time, desperate to find and grab hold of that one mind, the one that could perhaps help her as no other could or would.
And then she found him, or he her, and she pulled, begged, and forced him to come. Come he did, though it was not the one she sought.
Her essence shivered and cracked as he stepped forth from a place far, far away. His form was clothed in darkness, as were his crimson eyes which stared at her in curiosity. His presence caused her to almost shrink away into that calling night, but the eggs still thrummed within her energy. The man turned his gaze away from her and surveyed the falling away of her planet with no more emotion than would a corpse betray.
Not you I called.
He turned back to her with raised eyebrows, and was on the verge of speaking when another presence was felt. The atmosphere within her cocoon of life almost shattered as another man stepped from empty space. Like the one previous he was clothed in black, though beneath his open coat was a shirt of shining white. Around his waist hung half of a robe, black with purple etchings decorating the hem. Unlike the first, this one had strapped across his back a massive sword crafted it seemed from the emptiness of space so black was its blade. His eyes, violet instead of crimson, took in the surroundings, felt her pending death, and frowned.
“Where is this? Alec? Why have you brought me here?”
The man named as Alec shrugged slightly and nodded toward the mass of brilliant energy that throbbed before them, even as the world behind them both continued to crumble and cease.
“I did not bring you here Ayji. Nor do I know where it is that we are. Rai says she has never been here either. “
Ayji frowned.
At his presence the spirit had brightened.
Ayji. You it is whom I have summoned. You it is that I failed to keep upon my flesh, you It was to cause my solitary.
Ayji looked around and for the first time let all of his barriers down and really felt for the location he was now at. Home.
“This.. this was my home..”
Yes.
“But how..”
Without waiting for him to finish the entity poured the past thousand years into their minds. They saw the fury of the Dragon Gods when he had left the planet, in the presence of Ren. He never knew that this world was supposed to have been his prison, or Alec’s prison rather. Ayji had not known at the time that he was the reincarnation of the Crimson Knight’s slain leader. After they left, the gods had punished the planet guardian by slaughtering her population and forbidding her to create anything of life above a horse. For centuries she had been alone without another conscious thought or feeling of life, until the two blue-flesh came. With it was hope, but again she was mistaken and they sought to use her world as the sacrifice for their own race.
“You stopped them from accomplishing their goals. Way to go. However, I do not possess the power yet to recreate your world. I am sure that Ayji does not either.” Alec’s voice wasn’t as cold as before, but it was still flat as he stated facts. Ayji looked upon the mass of dimming energy and spoke softly.
“He is right, I am sorry. If I-“
With an almost violent push of force she cut off his last word with her own.
I do not wish my planet back, only to once more live without a hint of companionship. No, I wish for life. Not my own, but these that I have taken from the blue-flesh. In them have put I particles of mine own spirit. Life I cannot give though, but I can help it to take shape. This called you for, I have need of your life, Fatherless-One. And you as well, since you came, world-breaker.
Ayji sighed. “We cannot create life, Wise One.”
I have need only of your blood, and then your oath.
Ayji was silent for a moment, but he could not stop the sense of sorrow that plagued his mind. He never knew that his existence had caused such pain and death. There was no possible way he could refuse.
“You have them both, Old One. I will do what I can to raise your offspring as my own.”
No. You do not have the energy required to birth them both, I only hoped for one. However the World-Breaker has also come to my call.
“Oh fuck that. I owe you nothing. Do you realize how many of your kind I have had to destroy simply to stay alive?”
They cry to me in the night, Eater of Souls. Beg me they for you to cease, for they sense your link even through the ether of nothing which they become. Owe me, you as well.
“Brother, what she says is true.” Ayji said, turned toward the one which would be his twin.
“Ayji, sending one with me would mean certain death.”
“Not doing so would also mean certain death. At least with you there’s a small, very small, chance.”
Alec sighed and ran fingers through his shoulder length hair. He knew they were right, and he never enjoyed being the Destroyer. He could feel Rai-Shin pushing upon his thoughts. Yes, perhaps doing this would take a splatter of blood from their hands.
“Very well.”
The colors around them exploded as would a star and Ayji knew nothing more.
He awoke sometime later. His head pounded, his flesh crawled, and his eyes burned as though someone had struck them out with a burning poker. He would have sunken into a thankful oblivion and slept for perhaps four years, but a wriggling at his side prevented such illusions.
Ayji cracked open one violet orb and let it swivel down.
NO no no… this is supposed to be a dream caused by the vast intake of vodka.
His other eye followed suit and he could no longer deny that there was something living and breathing in the crook of his left arm. It was, he saw, a female something.
Oh fuuuuck…
Memories rushed into crush his mind for a moment, and the past few days caused him to fall back into the damp green grass. Elegy. Her name shall be Elegy.
He groaned, and just as he groaned the earth beneath his body shuddered with the landing of X. The large Biomechanical Angel of Death, Devastation, and Decapitation rushed toward Ayji with his violent sword raised, his single eye flashing red and brilliant.
’MASTER YOU HAVE RETURNED! Where are those that abducted you, I SHALL CRUSH THEIR BREATH!’
He couldn’t help but smile, but then the smile was wiped away as the pressure of the infant was lifted from him and he felt her presence gain altitude. His body jerked upright just as X released the girl, causing her to sore into the vibrant blue sky.
“Oh you fucking idiot!”
’It looked dangerous.’
“It’s a baby, dumbass.”
Ayji leapt to his feet, bent his knees, and without visible effort jumped straight up, following the path of the child. He caught her as she reached the apex of her journey and slowly carried them both downwards, manipulating the matter around their bodies to adjust their speed of dissent. They landed softly, the baby cradled in his arms, his face scowling at the big Hybrid Angel. He felt his friend shrug.
’ I call them as I see them. It felt dangerous.’
Ayji shook his head, marveling at the stupidity of his friend and the fact that the girl had remained asleep during the excitement.
“Awake little one.” She stirred faintly, but only to purse her lips slightly and take in what seemed a very deep breath. He took the time to peruse her little form, counting that she had all ten toes and fingers, wondering at her blue fingernails and toenails. Her skin was pale, but not sickly, and her hair was as black as Gaiden. He placed a hand to her small bare chest, and felt there her heartbeats.
“Elegy.” Her body jerked slightly as her name was spoken and her large, almond shaped eyes snapped open. Immediately he was assaulted with fear as her eyes burned into his own. Everything he’d feared coalesced into one entity of emotion and battered at his senses until there was nothing else but anguish. At once the girl began to scream, to cry until he thought her lungs must burst. He fell to his knees, hardly managing to choke out X’s name. The robot reached out and took the baby from his arms and at once the pain subsided, though the girl continued to scream. She was staring straight up, or so he thought.
Her eyes he noticed where complete orbs of silver, like mercury in substance, without iris or pupil. His limbs where still shaking as he tore a strip from the hem of his robes and tied it around the child’s head, covering her luminescent eyes. At once the crying diminished to body wracking sobs and he took her back into his arms, cooing softly.
“Hush there, sweet Elegy, daddy has you.”
The years passed as they do, and in them Ayji discovered joy which he had never thought possible. Through seers and magicians in and around the village he lived he learned that Elegy possessed very unique gifts; gifts that he would have to help her hone if she were to survive them. She was forced to wear a blindfold or eye-mask as she called it, for without it the world was cast in almost total shadow. She could see without it of course, but not as a person normally sees. She would see in versions of reality that none but her could touch, and the fabric of everything was laid open to her. Instead of seeing her father, she would see nothing but a series of vibrations grouped together to form his makeup, and those pushed together further to form his matter, then his body. Layer upon layer her small mind would be forced to digest, which brought about headaches that would last weeks. Not to mention that if she looked anyone in the eyes unpredictable things would always happen.
As the time wore on Ayji taught her to use her abilities to the best of his own, and those were formidable. since her powers ran along the same lines as his own it was not too difficult to help her cultivate her innate powers. Her power however, came from another source and not his blood. Before her sixth birthday she had mastered the first stages of her power over gravity, and from that point progressed on to master each of her inherent five senses, then created more.
By her ninth birthday she began the art of the blade, showing an aptitude that he knew was his own blood singing thru her veins. Such was her early progression that soon she was practicing with Gaiden, his own blade. Most in his village scorned at this, but once they witnessed the slight youth wielding the blade as would an adult man, they ceased.
On the eve of her thirteenth birthday the world which they dwelled upon quaked slightly. Ayji knew from where this surge of energy came, the surge that was strong enough to shake his planet on its axis. He reached out with his mind and confirmed that Elegy was asleep in her room within their manor, then vanished from beneath his roof, Gaiden strapped across his back.
He reappeared miles from his home and village. His feet landed softly upon the hill where he had woken with his daughter in his arms those years past. This time however, it was not she who greeted him, but his ‘brother’. The other half of his life stood outlined against a large pale moon, his face uplifted to bask in its beams. Hands in the pockets of his thigh length coat, he turned to Ayji, a grim smile on his lips. Power washed out from his body in waves, almost enough to cause Ayji to grip the hilt of his blade and bring it to bear, just incase.
“No need, brother. I am here only to talk.”
Ayji cursed silently, though he knew it was heard.
“You know what tomorrow is. Your daughter turns thirteen. Among humans it is the turn of an age, among the guardians it means nothing, and among the other race it meant nothing. To our race however, it was a momentous occasion.”
For a moment Ayji frowned, but then understanding fell across his mind. For a moment fear gripped his heart and he turned toward his home and the sleeping girl there, but almost instantly he calmed. Then he spoke.
“You mean Dragon Kin, what we once-“
“Still.”
“-were. I have no dragons residing within me, though that was a design of our blasted gods.”
“You have none, I have two. This is the time when a companion would have been chosen for her, and the two joined. I do not know if that is even possible with her mingled heritage, and no I am not here to try. “
“Then why are you here?”
“A gift, perhaps, and knowledge.”
Ayji frowned. “I would have the knowledge first, please.”
Alec nodded, for he expected no less from his twin. “For the past few years, or more, perhaps a hundred years I traveled this time, I know not. But for the time span I have sought information about the origin of our ‘blue-skins’. I have discovered all that I can for now, and this I will share.”
Ayji sat while Alec spoke, the older-looking man pacing back and forth as he recounted what was learned.
“The race has no known name. I know there was one, but so old is it that it has been lost. Understand this; the people were ancient when most of the gods were thought into existence. Some scholars refuse to even accept their existence. The blue people, as we will call them, were only alive two at a time, male and female. They would journey for thousands upon thousands of years, always searching. At the end of their personal journey they would fuck and their offspring would be born with their knowledge and power, and after a short growing period would continue the search. Realize this; these creatures knew secrets of the universe that we’ve never even dreamed of imagining. Now, what they sought for it is believed, is the creator itself. They believed that it was he who created them, and that he was waiting for them to rejoin his side after gathering all the knowledge of the galaxies. They were to be his exalted servants.
So, this is what was in the process of happening when they chose the wrong planet. The guardian ended a race that has outlived perhaps all but the creator itself.”
Ayji’s mind reeled at the thought. “You mean there are no others? Period?”
Alec shook his head. “None. And no, your daughter is not the continuation of that race, for though she possesses some of their attributes and powers, she does not share their goals or knowledge. Oh I imagine she is a fast learner, faster than any you or I have seen, but the knowledge of gods is not hers.”
Ayji nodded. “Of that I am glad. I do not believe I would wish her to waste her life searching for something she may never find. Thank you, for telling me.”
Alec merely stopped and stared down at his counterpart, then nodded brusquely and continued pacing. Ayji’s eyebrows rose slightly. “And what of this gift?”
Alec scowled. “I care not a whit about the girl, realize that first of all. However, she may as well have my own blood running through her veins, if I possessed blood as you do that is. And she is of our line because of that blood. When a childe of the Kin turn thirteen, if they are not joined, they fail to become what they could become. I did not bring a dragon hatchling with me, have no fear. I do however offer a solution that may or may not fill that void that will become profound after tomorrow.”
“And what is this solution?”
Alec stopped and faced Ayji as Ayji stood. He lifted his right rune covered arm up, palm facing the sky, and from the air came to life an orb, molten silver in color and texture. It quivered and swirled as if alive and reacting to the breeze that gently wafted over them.
“What is it?”
“There is no name for it, for it was only created a few days ago. Alia helped me, with power that she recently came into. It is unlike anything I have ever come into contact with, and acts as though it possesses awareness as no other energy does. I cannot house it within my body, there is already much there to contend with, and as your daughter…”
Ayji did not like the idea, wholly, but there was something about the small sphere of energy that called to him, almost sorrowfully. Without a spoken word he agreed. The next morning there was held a celebration as would have been held within a Kin village on Earth, and though at first confused and scared, Elegy bonded with the energy and agreed to be joined. From that day forward she was never alone.
For the next seven years Elegy lived, learned, and strove to be the best at everything set before her. None could match her in sword, best her in power, or outwit her cunning. It wasn’t long after her twentieth birthday when she felt that the planet had grown too small, and thinking such, with the blessing of her father, she left home for places before out of reach.
